Hi everybody, i have a question i hope i can get answers to! I am from canada quebec, currently working in china and i married over there. I want to go back canada soon ( calgary) but would like to know, if i want to sponsor my wife, do i also need to do the quebec paper work visa even if we wont go there? Its really confusing! Thank you very much!

A Canadian citizen living outside Canada must show their intent to move back to Canada for CIC to approve.

You just need to show your intent to move back to a specific province that is not Quebec. I believe it is only the people who are currently in Quebec or who show intent to move to Quebec from outside Canada who have to go through QC's CSQ process.

Sweet thanks alot! I have been in china for almost 2 years now and plan to go back soon. I did not made the 30 000 a year would that be ok problem? Also, to show them i want to go work in calgary, eoild that be enought? Thank alot you help me alot!
