Hi, I am asking in behalf of my friend applying for a PR under a live in care giver. She is separated from her husband. Since she is separated what would be her marital status? and her relationship to her ex husband under Section A form 1MM5406? Please advise. Thank you.

Technically she is still married so she must include him in line 2 of section A. For relationship use "separated".

I am not sure for that sort of PR application. Others on here will be able to advise.
Use whatever name her other documents are using, such as passport etc.
