Hello, I am seeking advice. I was granted asylum in 2012, and my file was in process as a protected person. During this time my wife became very ill in our home country. My children were very young and I needed to go back urgently. I retrieved my passports and went back there. I have tried 2x to get a TRV and they have declined me, my case is still in process in Canada and I've advised them that I cannot get the visa.

I'm lost, confused and feeling hopeless.

Can anyone suggest how I can get the TRV? I have advised that my case is pending in Canada but they said TRV is for temporary travel.

Any guidance please?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Did u withdraw your pr application?

How long have you been back in your home country? Given your efforts and your pending refugee claim, I would suggest you get in contact with an immigration lawyer in Canada. Having recovered the passport and re-entered the country you are seeking asylum from will probably not bode well for you application anyway and may lead to a rejection of your claim. You may as well start the conversation with a lawyer now in case of a refusal
