So I've been getting our application paperwork together to send off and I have a question about the Police Background record/check.

It said it needed to be a record from 18+. . . . if you JUST turned 18 do you still need the record check? I left 2 months after my `18th Birthday and have been in Canada with my Fiance ever since. Does this change it at all or would it be better to get it anyway. Better safe than sorry?

You are over 18 so you have to provide the police record check.

The other poster is correct. You still need to do it as you were technically over 18 for those 2 months while in your home country. If it is not included CIC will send you back your application and it will only cause you more delays. With CIC it is ALWAYS better to be safe!! :D Blessings.
