Hey guys,

I do need help with some questions I have about super visa for my parents:

  1. My parents will be traveling for the first time (internationally), and to help make their experience smooth, I am looking to get a sibling to accompany them just this time, especially in cases where they need to communicate with others or some running around while in transit. My sibling is young (below 30), but currently have a tie (work related) back home. Is this going to be an issue?
  2. Where my parents will only stay during summer months when they visit, will insurance companies reimburse the months they aren't here for, since I have heard one needs to pay for an entire year at a time?
  3. For the income requirement, is this the amount needed in my account or salary per year?
  4. Since they'll be here less then 6 months whenever they visit, do they still need to complete the IRCC medical exam?
  5. What are some things I should consider that will better represent their home tie? Mum currently operates a small/petty business, and dad does not do any businesses or work.
Thanks.

1. He can apply but nothing to do with your parents. If single then always more difficult if only tie is job. Needs to show own funds, absolute ties to return, and strong travel history.
2. Ask your insurance company since they have supervisa.
3. Funds for what members? Brother shows own funds. You say parents are travelling so making assumption supervisa has been approved with your NOA.
4. If outside Canada for more than 6 months they may be asked for proof.
5. Ties to return are job letters with approved leave, business registration, income properties etc. So mom shows business registration, client list, taxes paid etc. Dad has no ties.
