Question on Original transcripts

Hi Friends,

Is it mandate to submit original transcripts? The checklist says "original transcripts of all degrees must be submitted in university sealed envelopes'. I do have original transcripts but not in university sealed envelopes. I am not really ready to submit the original ones either. Is it fine if I could send photo copies of these? Please advise.

You should contact your university and find out how to get official transcripts in sealed envelopes.
 
But my university is in India and I currently stay in Canada.
It'd take months for me to get this done. Is there an alternate solution?

I'd like to add that I intend to apply under CEC category using my 2+ years of work experience and not under eduction.
I read in one of the threads that these transcripts are needed only for those applying for Post Graduate.

Any Expert advice?

You need the transcripts, no ifs or buts, you need them in sealed envelopes.

What if the applicants (applying under 2+ work experience) was an undergraduate (missing 6 non-academic units), do we need the transcript in sealed envelope as well?
 
You mean, if you did not earn any post-secondary degree?

Yes short of 6 credit units , am I required to submit even if Im applying under the work experience category?
 
Well, the document check list says to submit transcripts of all courses taken. I would, I mean, I will - that makes... 6 transcripts for me :0.
