Question on Open work permit under a new public policy

Hi, my PGWP is about to expire at the end of March, I am eligible to apply for another 18 months under the new policy. I am waiting for a new passport to apply. In the auto response email after you apply (from my friend), it says:

After you apply, you are authorized to continue working with the same condition (ie: employer and occupation) until June 14, 2021 or until the decision is made on your application, whichever is first.

Questions:
1. If it passes June 14, 2021 and no decision is made, what is my status and do I need to get a visitor status?
2. If I get a new job offer (got laid off recently), should employer be worried about my status?
3. What should I say to the interviewer about my status?

1. You will be on Implied status until a decision is made and you can apply for TRV once your application is approved.
2. That depends on employer , most of them want a confirmation of work permit approval.
3. Inform that you have applied for an extension.
