Question on Forms, newborn baby born to Canadian father

Hello All,

I appreciate the wealth of knowledge on this board, and have tried to find a clear answer on 2 questions relating to the PRV/sponsorship forms

I am a Canadian citizen working in Thailand, married to my Thai wife for 1.5 years. We have a 7 month old baby girl who was born in Thailand. I have already submitted the application for her Canadian Citizenship which should come before the end of 2010.

I would like to submit the PRV forms for my wife, but I would like to confirm whether my wife needs to include our daughter as a dependent child on form IMM 0008 Generic.

I am also curious if the whole package needs to be sent to Singapore, or to CPC Mississauga.

Any clarifications would be very appreciated.

1. Go back read the forms, the child is a citizen, so she is not included on the forms.
2. The sponsorship and application with all attachments go to Mississauga, with a letter from you outlining how you tend to resettle in Canada, job, accommodation, schooling.
3. Note the application will be processed in Singapore as Bangkok doesn't process Immigrant applications. Ensure that you select Singapore as the visa office, or your application will be returned.
