Hello.
I'm a PR card holder and about to re-establish my residence in BC (been there 1 week 2 years ago). And have question on MSP enrolment from.

I have specified the date of arrival in 2-C "Most recent move in BC" and I have doubts what should answer in 2-D "Have you or any family member been outside BC for more than 30 days in total during the past 12 months?" .
If "Yes", should I specify the dates of our 2-year absence? Or it's "No" because we are re-establishing?

Thank you for your advise!

You are talking about this form? https://www.health.gov.bc.ca/exforms/msp/102fil.pdf

In 2C, list the date you are moving to BC (this time) and in 2D, say that you have been outside BC for more than 30 days in the last year because you have.

Yes, I'm talking about this form. Funny thing - I just called Toll-free: 1 800 663-7100 for MSP related questions and have been told that I need to reply "no" as this is not applicable for re-establishing residents. I am confused now even more.

Hmm, ok, just do what they say then. Seems strange to me that you would actually be lying. Maybe you should just write not applicable over the whole question.

Called again to clarify. Another agent told me, "yes, this is confusing, but from 2C we can see you just returned and thus 2D is not applicable to you, so you should choose "NO"".
Thank you Leon for your answers!
