If one gets through the AINP Program, does he/she has to stay in Alberta only or he can move after obtaining PR ?

Thanks,

When you apply for AINP, you sign a declaration that you have the intent to stay in Alberta if nominated. But there is nothing stopping you from moving to another province. You need to make the call for this, it will be good if you land in Alberta and work there for sometime before you move. Or else it could create problems at naturalization stage.

Thanks. I was just wondering that if I leave everything and move to Canada (Alberta) and do not find a job there. In that case, can I look for a job some place else ?

Also, if I move to some other place, lets say after 2-4 months (after eating up my savings), will it affect when I go and apply for Citizenship?

Thanks,

Nobody knows, but we assume that they might create a problem (IMHO).

First of all, It is unpredictable. The purpose of whole program is to get those who are needed by province. Therefore, after extensive research conducted by HRSDC, AINP composed list of NOC's needed by province. In case if that happens then you should have enough evidence to demonstrate that you made enough efforts to find a job in Alberta in your profession.

How will I demonstrate that I made enough efforts ?

Efforts can be demonstrated through, number of submissions of resume and responses from employer side, Available jobs in your skillset on various jobsites, Your evaluation in terms of Alberta Professional standards like lack of certification. Mostly employer will send you acknowledgement letter while you apply thorugh mail. These all documents will be considered as efforts to get employment in profession.

Good info. Thanks
