My time. I am ready to send my supported documents to Buffalo, NY. However, I have a little issue: I started at the company I work for as an Accountant Trainee and worked for 2 years. Then, promoted to Accountant Technician and worked as such for 2 years. Then, promoted again to Accountant and have been working for 4 years. Now, Accountant Trainee is not in the NOC list. Accountant Techinician is on NOC list, but not in demand(38 list). Now, Accountant is on the NOC list and it is on the 38 list and I am getting full point for this one. Now, my employer will give me a letter tomorrow. Do I need to put the information such as duties in the letter for Accountant Trainee and Accountant Technician even though both are not giving me any points and the only one giving points is the Accountant?
What will happen if my employer gives me the letter only stating I have been working for the past 4 years as Accountant and put down duties?

Thank guys.

Re: Question for the most experience guys here or who experience the same thing!

have you been working as an accountant for 4 years (i.e. 8 years for the company) or just recently been promoted (i.e. working for the company for 4 years).

I think if its the former, then what you are doing is okay, except your letter will say you worked for the company for four years and the application form will say you worked for the company for 8 years, then it won't look the same.

What about if they mention the other jobs and the time periods but only mention the duties for the accountant.

Re: Question for the most experience guys here or who experience the same thing!

Bellow is the data:
09/2000 to 05/2002-Accountant Trainee
05/2002 to 09/2004- Accountant Technician
09/2004 to Present Accountant

The information above is in my application and the duties for the Accountant Technician are also in the application. However, they will put down that I was hired in 09/2000 and I have been working as an Accountant since 09/2004. They will not mention anything for Accounting Trainee and Accountant Technician.

What do u think?

Re: Question for the most experience guys here or who experience the same thing!

i think that should be fine because you have stated clearly that you have been employed from 2000 and that your current job and duties are from 2004. I feel its fine.

Re: Question for the most experience guys here or who experience the same thing!

I got my work letter today. It says:

This is to certify that Mr.......has been employed with our company since 09/2001. He has served us in different positions. However, he has been employed as an Full-time Accountant since 09/2004. His current duties are:

The duties go on.

Mr......earnes an early salary of ......... and the following benefits:.....

Should you require any information, please feel free to call the above number.

The letter was writetn in a letter head paper and a business card was attached. I am sending W2 form. paystubs, taxes, etc. However, the company did not put down I started as Accountant Trainee and that I moved up on 05/2002 to Accountant Technician. What do you guys think? Is the last positon, "General Accountant" which is on list 38 list more important or the CIC might pick on it? The reason I am saying that is because on the instructions, they ask for postions held in the compnay and duties.

What now?

Thank you.

i think its fine but i am not experienced it this. Best to wait for PMM, BCguy or leon to reply back.

I think the letter will be fine. The last position is most important.
