Question for SCHEDULE A (IMM0008) #7 Education section

In this section, " Type of certificate or diploma issued" column, what is it exactly asking?
Is it asking what kind of certicate or diploma? is it asking if it is a certicate or diploma I got/
For example, should I answer it "Graduation" "Completion" - which I mean I graduated. Type???
OR, should I just say "certificate" or "diploma"

my seceond question, in South Korea, we have junior high 3 years and senior high 3 years so all together 6 years in high school. Should I need to state the period for junior and senior in every single year or can I just state the period of each lump sum of 3 years in each period?

They are asking for the name of certificate or diploma you received after completing that level of education. For example, if you completed an undergraduate program, then it would be something like "Bachelor of Science in Biology", etc. For post-graduate programs, it will either be Masters in abc or PhD in xyz., etc[/color]

hi thank you much.
then how about in the "field of study"?
say I have a diploma in accounting. Then the "Type of certificate .." is Accounting then how about in the "field of study" for this? Bussiness perhaps??

If that is the case, then how about for secondary school? what is the "type of certificate .." for this???

Field of study is accounting (this is like your major)
Type of certificate = Diploma in Accounting

Secondary school refers to "high school" in the Canadian education system but may not mean the same thing in your own country. So you have to go with what is considered secondary school in your home country and then write the type of certificate you received.

For example, my country uses the British system of education so, "secondary school" is Form 1 - 5 and we receive a GCE certificate Ordinary Level. "High school" is lower sixth and upper sixth(2 yrs) and we receive a GCE certificate Advanced Level. So I entered 7 yrs(5+2) for "secondary school".
