Hi, I do need help... and hope some kind people out there can help me out.

I have 13 year working experience as RN. I got my diploma of nursing (3 year study) from Malaysia nursing broad and got my Bachelor of nursing post graduate ( 2 year study part time) from Monash university Australia in year 2008.

I holding Malaysia passport and currently still work in Saudi Arabia more than ( 8years)

Question:
My would like to know, which step I must take first?

1. Apply for CRNE application from nurses college of BC ?
2. Look for employer first?
3. Look for immigration agent to process my paper?

One more question:
Any trusted imigaration agent can any one suggested in Riyadh or canada that can guide me?

Hi there

It would be advisable first to apply for assessment from your college in bc where you want to work as that process itself can take upto 4-8 months. It varies for people. I applied in Ontario and for me it took 5 months.

As of now FSW applications are not being taken and they may start in 2013 so in the meanwhile your college assessment can be completed . You can apply for immigration if you have an offer of employment from Canada, so if you don't want to wait till 2013 you can try for that.

It is advisable from personal experience not to go with any agent , I would not say that all of them are crooks but the process is not difficult , everything is explained on the website www.cic.gc.ca and the seniors here in this forum are just amazing in the way they help newbies. I myself have got many of my queries answered here in an instant and mostly in an accurate way.
