Question for furthering my studies after graduating

I will finish my studies this term with a diploma in accounting. My study permit will expire 90 days after graduating. I am planning to enroll in another program to further my studies in Fall this year. I am also planning to apply for a PGWP. I am not sure about the study permit process though. What option should I apply under: new study permit or extension of study permit? And under either option, could I apply for the new permit if my current study permit is still valid for more than a month i.e 6 months?

Note: The new program will last another one to two years.

I’ll graduate this term end of April. I’m pursing a CPA designation which requires additional studying. I will need a study permit and and a work permit because there’s a working component to it as well.

However, I’m not sure if this can help, but my current study permit and TRV will expire in March 2023. Not sure if I could transfer/extend what I already have or should I reapply all over again.
