Hello All:
I hope this finds everyone doing wonderfully well. I hope someone can help or can point me in the right direction for my friend. I have several questions. I told my friend to create a profile and he has, but for some reason he has been unable to get his email approve to post on here. So here goes.
1.) My friend is from Libya, and he has a BS degree in Petroluem Engineering, however do the Arab Spring of 2011 he wasn't able to continue to that the job so currently he works as a contract volunteer as a crisis manager with Germany as Libyan liason.
He would like to immigrate to Canada, but is unsure if his engineering background would not be enough for him to qualify for an express visa. Would it be?
2.) He speaks several languages and is fluent in Arabic, Dutch, and has professional proficiency in English, but does not speak French and fears that not speaking French would hurt his chances for applying for an express visa. Is that true?
3.) Since he is Libyan he feels he might need an immigration attorney for an express visa or immigration visa in general. However, I told him I would think so since his CV/resume is impressive. Nevertheless, he feels nervous because he from Libya. Does it matter which country he is from as long as he has proof and shows that he has not been in trouble is wanting to immigrate for the correct reasons?
