[Question] Chances of OINP HCP ?

Hey guys,

I am having a CRS of 459 and NOC of 0711.
As per recent trends, I was seeing the OINP HCP stream sending NOI to persons with 455-600 range and several NOCs.
My NOC is in the list,
1) What do you guys think are the chances of NOI in the upcoming draw?
2) When can the next draw come? (approximately)

Your signature says CRS 435 by the way

Hopefully there will be a HCP draw in April but who knows and your CRS score might be selected if there are at least 900 - 1000 applicants chosen.

Statistically, there should be a Tech draw before a HCP one.

I am on the same boat as you, so I am definitely waiting for a sign of draws.

That Crs was from 2020/06 to 2021/06 post which I have acquired a 1 year diploma and lost 5 points for age.

I think you are right on your assumption of a tech draw.
The only thing that is worrisome is that when they increased the cap from 455-600, the range of profiles chosen were from February 21 to April-21 only instead of the full year in the previous 12th Jan draw .

I don't know what the hell was that draw limiting the profiles between February 22, 2021 - April 29, 2021, but they made a second draw where they removed the profile age limit when they conducted the Skilled Trades Stream on February 24, 2022.

I think they have removed the CAP permanently and the only thing left to do now is wait for the next draws to happen.

Look at past draws and see when HCPs are drawn…every few months. When was your profile submitted because the last draw it was for those who submitted from Feb-April 2021.

1. Don’t know as I’ve depends on the draw and whether your NOC is selected. Remember just because your NOC is listed doesn’t mean they select people in that NOC for that draw. They may only select those with highest scores or none at all. They pick and choose.
