question about status

hi guys,

i'm going through divorce unfortunatly, will this change my landed immigrant status (landed 2011)?
do i have to worry about me getting kicked out of the country??
i won't need any finacial support from my husband, so i won't claim any support.

Hi Hopetoland,

Your divorce will not affect your landed immigrant status unless your marriage was a sham. You have nothing to worry about if the marriage was based on a genuine relationship.
