Question about sponsorship evaluation employment

I am sponsoring my wife for pr inland class and I have a question about the question on the sponsor evaluation form that asks u to check off weAther u r employed or unemployed. I will be starting work this sAterday but we want to send in our application today. Should I check off that I am employed or unemPloyed. Also does it matter that the date we signed the application was 2weeks before my start dAte at my job.

Also I am confused About where to put n/a. Is it every single box that was left blank?
