If he arrives during the day on a week day into a Toronto he can get it there at the airport.

Thank you for that info. He lands in Montreal on a Sunday. We will go the next day when we get back to Niagara region.

I applied for my SIN 2-3 days after landing and the office wasn't able to issue me one on the spot. The person working there couldn't tell me why, but he thought it maybe since I had just landed something hadn't been processed quick enough. I ended up getting it in the mail about a week later. But he *should* be able to apply (and get, hopefully) for it right away.

Thats what we did, we arrived late at night
Slept in Toronto because we had missed our connection lol but we went for his sin the day after we got home. Just need copr and passport.

I can't wait! Also have appointments to register our 2 daughters at school the day after they arrive. Very exciting!
