Hi guys, I'm quite new to this so the overwhelming information kinda make me feel loss. At the moment, I'm holding an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality (Patissiere) and have 1 year working in the restaurant as a pastry chef. So I looked and it said I'm qualified for the Skilled worker program (where they require only 1 year of experience). But I am also within the skilled trades program because of my profession. So do i have to apply to the skilled trade program (this one they require you to have at least 2 year) or I can apply for the Skilled Worker program just fine?

In my opinion, you don't get to decide through which program you can apply for PR. Once you receive ITA, the way they check your eligibility is as follows - CEC, FSW, FTW. They would check if you are eligible under CEC first, if not then would move to check eligibility under FSW and so on. It will be based on what you put in your EE profile.

I think PNP does not fall under this list since they have a different cut-off and invitation process altogether.
