Dear forum members,

I want to send the application for FSW with courier service. To be exact I want to send them with DHL.
Now with the application I will send a bank cheque for the processing fees.
When I send the documents with DHL i fill a form where there is a field to write whats inside the envelope.
Now my question is should I write that there is cheque in the amount of 1100 CAD inside, or just to write that I am sending documents for FSW visa.
I am asking this, in case the enveloped is oppened on the way, and in some strange case the cheques is not inside when the application reach CIC, so I have a prove that I send the cheque and I can complain to DHL.
I am asking this because friend of mine was sending his passport with FedEX and it never reached the embassy. He didn't write that he was sending a passport inside the enveloped, and he hasn't prove that the passport was lost so he has to take the blame.

Maybe this is strange questions, but I was wondering.

Is the cheque cashable by anyone or just CIC?

Mate...I would not use DHL. Use UPS instead. It is much faster as they have a local office in nova scotia. On cheque, are you supposed to send a cheque or a demand draft? If demand draft, the recipient must be clearly written on it. Hence, you do not need to disclose to courier. Hope this helps.

i agree with johnnyzee, UPS is far far better than DHL, i sent my docs via DHL for ECA and they delayed my shipment for one week, UPS has a very good service u need not to fill a form like this, secondly shipments made by UPS are not opened by customs or other officials if the envelope contains docs. so feel free to ship your envelope via UPS. i have done mine via UPS.

Well please dont use DHL as they take a lot of time, first DHL will takes packets to Leipzig, Germany where their main hub is over there again customs then to their office then again to Ohio i guess their main hub then custom checking then in their office then to Ontario and then they will take to sydney and if there is in between saturday and sunday then they wont work so it will take a lot of time. As you said your friends paper never reached embassy, god knows why but whole world using UPS or FedEx, so choose them. Rest your wish...

First of all, you are not suppose to sent your original passport via courier or any mean.... no wonder it dint reach the office!!!! hope u get it back very soon....

documents delivery fee of $85 dollars only. As soon as the documents delivery fee is confirm by the department the courier department will proceed with the sending of your visa documents to you for you to take to the embassy for presentation on your embassy appointment date Is it real
