Question About Processing Times CPP-O

Hello Everyone,

I noticed that the processing time for CPP-Ottawa was updated and it went up by a month. Anyone has any insight on this? I have seen that a lot people who applied after June 2012 have been getting the PR in under 10 months so Im confused about this metric, why it seems to be going up when the applications are being processed relatively quickly?

The processing time is always an 'average' metric which varies from say 5 to 24 months, that is where you get the 13 from. So all depends on case to case basis...but most applicants who have all upright docs submitted upfront and clean security records are able to receive their PR fairly quickly.
