Question about Police Certificate for Outland applicants

I am applying for spousal sponsorship Outland, I "live" (visitor visa) here in Canada, do I have to get a police certificate for Canada too?
I have lived here with status since 2010. Thanks in advance for any input.

you must get police report for any city, where you have been leaving after the age of 18 or for more than 6 months.

No - not for Canada. Every country with the exception of Canada.

Nope... listen to Scylla, not the first poster. Apparently applicants do NOT need to get a Canadian PCC because CIC does their own backgroud checks for both criminality and security. A record from any OTHER country is needed, NOT canada.
