Question about parents sponsorship

I have sponsored my parents (living in India) in 2011 and immigration got application on 2011. Now , I got letter from immigration which mentioned that "we have determined that your application is complete and it is on the processing queue" what does it mean? Did they qualify me as sponsor? what will be the next?

Please response as it is more than 4 years and it is still in Canada.

I'd suggest you check out the parents sponsorship thread.

It sounds like an AOR, because for sponsor approval, it usually says something like: you have been approved as a sponsor and your file has been transferred to a visa office abroad.

CIC is working on applications received in April 2011. Stage 2 then takes anywhere from 15 to 80 months, depending on your VO.

Sounds like you were sponsor approved. I doubt it is AOR as he sponsored in 2011, but I suppose it could be.

I just talked with cic but they said it will be the first part of process that means( verify the sponsor) and immigration let us know by 6 months. I am little bit confused as if I am not yet elegible then how come the application is complele.

That sounds like AOR then, where they check that everything is included. The application is complete, meaning there aren't any documents missing, no signatures missing, etc. It's not complete as in finished.

What is your timeline and when did you send your documents to CIC and when did you get your AOR letter.
