Question about my Student Visa from Qatar

Hi there,
I applied for a student visa on May 19th from VFS in Qatar, I didn't get an update after the medical check submitted.

did any one get an update from them at current times?
anyone knows a way to make the process faster after they request the passport ?

Hello,
When were you requested for medical and when did you pass it? I think VFS has a few options for expedited delivery for additional charges.

they asked the medical on July 11th, and on July 18th.
i did ask them about paying more for faster service, and they said we don't have that. i was wondering if I my parents are allowed to go and submit the passport directly to the embassy on abu dhabi ?

Have they requested your passport yet? There is no point of sending lyour parents through your parents' if they haven't requested. When did you pass the medical?

I passed the medical July 18th, and no they didn't yet!

Yes it's worrisome for both of us... If it's taking you so long I cannot fathom how long would it take me.... good luck my friend... In the worst case be prepared to postpone your admission for the following semester. Is it your first time applying or have you lived in Canada before?

thank you, actually I took a short term semester in Canada on January.

did you send them an email asking about your case ?
