Hello all,
I am currently finalising all my paperwork for my common law application. And then I started doubting myself on the details of my application.

My partner and I have lived together for over a year now and are eligible for common law pr from my understanding but,

When I select my relationship to sponsor, is "common law partner living together" a correct choice?
What is our current martial status? Is it single because we are not yet recognised by the government or is it common law because we have lived together for over 12 months?

And what is meant by "the date on which you entered into the common law relationship"
Is that the date we moved in together or is that the date 12months from when we moved in together?

Cheers
Patryk

Have you read this guide ? http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5289ETOC.asp

The date in which you entered common law is the date you became common law so the date that 12 months had passed and not the date you moved in together. Look at it as the equivalent of the date someone got married so assuming the 12 month test has passed your status is now common law in my view anyway.

See the section for IMm1344 sponsor personal details question 8. The undertaking question 6 asks the same question but with different wording.

Above is my interpretation anyway
