Hi.

I had a work permit as a food counter attendant, and i applied for PNP.
A few days before i applied for PNP, i had a good opportunity to buy a business here and i bought it.

My PNP officer found out i was an owner of a business (because i had 2 employees who were applying for PNP as well) and denied my nomination..
Saying that i own more than 10 percent of a business or some stupid reason like that...
(Although i was still working for the old place that has nominated me.. i was just the owner of the other business.. not working there..)

My question is...
what are my options to get a PR?
I had bought the business for $130,000 and i have a contract to show for it.. and the business makes around $45,000 in revenue each month..
Also i have 9 Canadian Employees now..

Right now i am under implied status because my PNP was refused and my request to extend work permit was not processed yet..
I am expecting to get the refusal of the work permit soon as well.. and then i will be without status...

what do i need to do?
What is my best option??

Feeling confused.. :o

I think your problem is that you're not allowed to own more than 10% of a business as a PR. A work permit does not allow you to purchase and run a business in Canada independently. Probably time to spend some money and invest in a good immigration lawyer.

I know for a fact that what you are saying is not true..
So if you don't have anything wise or to point out any fact.. Please don't reply and cause confusin for other people who are looking at these posts.

Anybody can inform with actual knowledge and no guesses?
