I would like to ask whats the status of your health care coverage if you got temporary work visa for Alberta.
What is the status of your spouse and dependent children if they are coming with you. Are they having healt care insurance or the worker must buy the insurance,

Since you said spouse and children are coming with you, i take that this is the case of skilled worker class NOC 0, A or B. In this case depends are covered under the same insurance as the primary applicant. The only thing might be 3 month initial period for which you have to buy insurance privately.

This is general to Canada and i don't know of any rules specific to Alberta.

The job position that I am about to work is system/network administrator , noc 2281. which is on Type A, B ,O.
Therefore I am to assume that they will be covered by my insurance

In Alberta if you apply under FSW you get insurance since you enter the country. Probably it is the same with temporary visa.
