So recently I got a study permit extension from cic after having missed 3 semesters and taking one part time semester due to developing rheumatoid arthritis and upheaval in my home country.
The semester where I was diagnosed with Rheumatoid arthritis was my fourth semester and I registered for 3 courses during that period. So I was part time for that semester.
My question now is this, if I finish my remaining 5 semesters as a full time student and graduate, would I still be eligible for a PGWP?
Here are some black marks that were pardoned on my record...
1) Lost 3 semesters due to diagnosis of disability
2) worked with off campus work permit for 4 months while not registered in school. This is something I mention in my recent cic application.
Again, once I graduate sometime ending next year, I would have had 8 full time semesters and 1 part time semester due to my disability.
Does that disqualify me from PGWP when I apply? If I need another study permit extension, would I have to mention what I explained and proved to the previous agent as well?
In some ways my arthritis was both a blessing and a curse, I just want to know if I'm screwed.
