Okay I'm new to this site, and I've been going a lot of the threads finding very useful information, but I have been unable to find anywhere yet that answers this one question I have, so I figured I'd make a post about it to see if I can get an answer quicker.

We're about to send to send in all the applications for my husband, and I'm about to make the fee payments and print off the receipts to send in with all our paperwork. My husband is from the US and has just moved up here with me (currently 'Visitor'), and so our applications are compiled of the request to extend his stay, an application to change status to worker, and all the applications for the family class sponsorship. Now I'm looking at the 'Fee schedule for Citizenship and Immigration Services' page on the CIC website (sorry it wont let me post the actual link) and I'm having trouble determining which all fees I need to pay. I dont want to overpay for something unnecessary, or under pay and have the process be delayed or anything like that. I know I need to pay the RPRF fee for $490, but what is confusing me is the '2.Applications for visas and permits' and '3. Fees for applications to remain in Canada as a permanent resident'. One has the PR fee of $75 and $475, and the other has the Spouse in Canada class fees for $75 and $475.

What I'm wondering is if we have to pay the $550 for both of those, or just one and not the other?

Then on top of that, on the checklist for his change status to worker application, it says to include a Receipt for that as well, so I'm wondering if there is a fee for that application too that I'm not even looking at?

Thanks in advance if anyone can help. We were hoping to send out all the paperwork this weekend, but all I'm waiting on now is the receipts for these fee payments.

If you are submitting your Sponsorship Application (Inland) then chose Spouse in Canada class -(If you apply Inland then your husband has to remain in Canada till final decision is made)
If you are submitting your Sponsorship Application (Outland) then chose the other

You have to pay only one fee of $550 ($75 + $475) Plus RPRF $490.00

I believe there is a separate fee for Change of status application.

It's 1040 for PR application (75+475+490)
Extend his visitor's visa is 75
And I can't tell you how much the work permit is, I can't seem to find that on the newly updated website which is way too confusing to me!

Hopefully someone can tell you that.

Fees for work permit is $150.00
