We plan to take an Alaska cruise from Seattle on July 23 for which I need the Canadian visa. The ship docks in Victoria for a DAY !!!

The online application requires me to submit an current Employment Reference letter which must be STAMPED. Also instructs to include the Managers business card .
While I have the employment verification letter which is current and signed, its not SEALED or Stamped.

Secondly , my Manager is out of the country for 2 weeks and l can't wait until them to apply for the temp resident visa . How important is it to include the Managers business card ?

I have all the other documentation they require except the business card and that the verification letter is not stamped with the company seal. Would that cause for them to reject my visa ?

hello monica. is it possible that you can receive a stamp through the secretary or the human resources department of your company?

When I submitted my application it wasn't stamped, it's not a rule of thumb that it has to be, but I could infer that the VO has doubts regarding the legitimacy of the employment letter and he may be seeking additional proof.

Thanks for your reply. I have submitted recent paystubs so legitimacy shouldn't be a concern for them. Thanks for your post.

They might mean notorized which the company lawyer could do.

Re: Question about Employment Reference letter for TRV

I think my post was confusing. My apologies !

I was just inquiring if I could send the employment verification letter without the stamp . The Consulate hasn't asked for additional details.

I mentioned LA Consulate in my post bcos I assumed my application will be sent to LA since I live in California.
