question about checking application status. can someone pls answer me

hi everyone,
im little confused . recently send family class application about 2 months ago. few days ago my wife and i both got email from cic. they gave her and i same application number but different client id number. im the sponsor and she is the principal applicant.
When i check application status with her client id it only says ( we received your application june16)
When check it with my client id number it says
1- we have received your application june 16.
2- We start processing your applicationjune 19
Is anyone know why it says like that? mine says processing but with my wifes client id number only says aplication received?

Because YOU are the Sponsor. What they assess in Mississauga is the Sponsor only.

She is the Principal Applicant. She will only be assessed if and once you have been approved as sponsor and only then once they have requested and received her medical and schedule A then passed it on the local visa office.

The only other thing they do at Mississauga is a 'gross error check' of all the forms submitted. Have you sent all the forms and attachments according to the checklist and are they all signed etc.

So your respective entries are correct.

thanks very much Hurlabrick. i think i filled out all forms correctly and put all documents they asked.
So next step they will accept my sponsorship??
some people say , if you make any mistake or missing any form cic do not give any client id or application
