question about application to sponsor

since it says the spouse must be the cosigned then i go to put in my info then it says status in canada im a visitor currently and there isnt an option for that also for my contact information im currently in canada visiting i dont reside here but im going to do another extension should i optu the adress of where i am in canada or the adress where i "reside" in the states

also do i necesaraly need a cosigned on the applications because i did chose me but i tok it off cause it says im not eligible to be the co signer lol

Read a bit further down in the Guide . . . it says there (in part):
"This condition does not apply if you are sponsoring only
· your spouse, common-law or conjugal partner who has no dependent children, or . . . "

Since you're sponsoring your spouse there is NO co-signer.
