I'd go with CPP-O if you are a temporary lawful resident and are going to stay in Canada during the process.

Hi, I'm applying for the CEC from within Canada and I'm not sure of what to write on this question too. It seems like the office where I would have to mail all my documents is in Sydney NS but is it the same for this question??? I'm wondering becuase on the Guide 5609 it says Do not select the CIO as the immigration office requested to process your application. Although you may be required to submit your application to the CIO, you must indicate the name of an appropriate visa office using the criteria above.

Provide 'CPP-O' as the VO to process your application as you are applying from within Canada.

Irrespective of which VO you choose, you always mail your application package to CIO-NS. At CIO, they do a basic completion check on your application and then forward it to the VO applicable (CPP-O in your case).
