Hello everyone,
Honestly its my first post here and I am very excited to be a part of this forum. I had a very quick question and I hope someone is able to answer me.
So I came to Canada as a student in 2013 September intake and I graduated in 2015 April. It was a two year course which resulted in a 3 year work permit (pgwp) I started working full time which falls under NOC-B category. Now the question is while I was hired I was under the co-op work permit (reason being-awaiting original graduation certificate) I worked for about 1 and half month and then applied for my post grad full time permit (I received my graduation certificate and proceeded with my pgwp application) now the work permit was applied on the June 15 2015 and I received my permit for 3 years on the August 18 2015, I was working under the" implied" status. I am now in my 8th month of employment if I count all the months starting May 4th (joining date). So as we all know we need to have 1 year of minimum experience to apply for PR under CEC, does my scenario mean I will be eligible to apply in the next 4 months? Or do I need to have 12 months of experience on work permit? My main concern is "is the work experience counted on implied status"?
Please advice

Thanks a lot in advance.
Appreciate all the help.

Implied status is a valid status, so the experience gained on it count, but implied status extends the conditions and limitations of the previous work permit. So the real question is: does experience on co-op permit past graduation count

My co op was done on the April 24 2015, which indirectly means I am done with my course. So do you think it has counted?

IMHO .. It will be counted if you were paying proper taxes and you have documents to prove that like T4 and salary slips.. To provide proof that it is counted .. I can say students came under IEC (International Experience Canada) category for internship/co op can apply under CEC after one year of IEC experience.. I am one example.

Just Make sure you have work permit with you. Other senior members can correct me if I am wrong.

Thank you for the advice. I have pay stubs and my employment verification letter which states proper dates very clearly. I mean my paper work is crystal clear.
