Hello,

I have a question related to Job offer for PR Application for Federal Skills or PNP. I am not working in Canada. But trying to get the job offer to apply for FSW or any PNP program, mostly Ontario PNP. To get the additional points, do I need a job offer or LMIA also? When I read a CIC web site, the LMIA is required only for applying a work permit.

Please see the link below

Employers of some types of temporary workers need to get a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) before the worker applies for a work permit. An LMIA is a document from Employment and Social Development Canada that gives the employer permission to hire a temporary worker.

Any idea, please help!

Thanks

LMIA is required if you want to apply through EE and claim 50 CRS points.

For PNPs, if you have an LMIA, you can apply under PNP program for PR.

Thanks Mr.Preetsingh.

As per your response, I understood that LMIA is required for EE and PNP as well right?

1. If I have a job offer from an employer from Ontario, can I still apply for EE (FSW)?
2. For suppose, If i get job offer from an employer from Ontario, can I eligible to apply to ONPNP without a LMIA?
