Query regarding police report from Singapore

Hi All,

I have recently revived ITA and have a question regarding police report. I have been living in Singapore for the past few years (7 years) and when completing permanent residency form I'm required to upload the police report. However according to CIC, it says below. So should I not bother about police report for now? The other country I have lived in is Malaysia (Studying). According to CIC the instructions are same. So I should not upload any documents under police clearance? Please advise. Thanks



Do I need to provide a Police Certificate with my Application for Permanent Residence? No. Citizenship and Immigration Canada will send you a letter requesting a police certificate after you send your Application for Permanent Residence. You must bring that letter when you apply for a Police Certificate.

You only need to provide a police clearance certificate for Malaysia and Singapore when asked to by CIC.
