Hi guys .. I want to apply under Skilled worker category ..
I am working as a freelancer programmer for last 5 years .. and last year I went to US for some project also for 8-9 months on H1B, to work for some client .. I have clients mainly from Europe and US ..
So I wanna check if I am eligible to apply under Skilled worker cateogry .. I have checked all the responsibilities etc and I am doing all those while working ..
I have all the project letters, payment receipts, tax returns etc for last 2-3 years and also have the recommendation letters from my clients from US and UK..

So if anyone can let me know abt my chances I would be very thankful ..

Any help guys? ::)
Hi hitman,
I think you are good to go, however, I will recommend you to use this link to assess your eligibility if you would like to apply as federal applicant: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/tool/index.asp
Go to this one if you would like to stay in Quebec: http://www.form.services.micc.gouv.qc.ca/epi/controler.jsp?languageCode=en
For Quebec applicants, note that you should apply for CSQ first.
Hope that this help.
By the way, welcome to the forum.
Cheers,

Thx a lot for reply ..

Yeah as per those forms I am eligible and I am getting more than desired points .. My only query was if they will take my freelancing experience as a valid experience and will I be eligible for Skilled worker 0213 category .. Despite having all the related docs like clients letter etc, I was confused ..

But thx for confirming tht I will be eligible .. I will soon start the procedure ..

Hi Guys,
I have few more queries ..
Can I submit my docs without IELTS score? Cos my test is scheduled next month only ..
Also how much band is needed to obtain full points in language section? and is tht band needed in all 4 section individually or an overall band level will do the job ..

I gave toefl some 3-4 years back and got 280 out of 300 .. So I guess this IELTS should also be somewht similar to toefl .. right?
