Hello,
We have received CoPR and Visa, but I was pregnant at the time I recieved the message. We informed the concerned department of the new development as instructed.
And I received a message from CIC that, if I am not able to deliver the child in Canada, then the COPRs and visas will be cancelled and the file will be re-opened for further processing, in order to add the child to the application after he/she is born.
We are planning to have the baby delivered in India. Our COPRs expire before the baby is born.
Request you to please advise on the next steps post the birth of the newborn. What are the steps to reopen the application to add the dependent child? What additional documents will be needed? What is the expected timeline for the application process after it is reopened? I wish to be prepared so that I can submit the application as early as possible.
