Hi all,

My friend have a score of 404 for the application of PR . Meanwhile he is getting processed for work permit from his company to canada. Now I want suggestion like, is it good to go and settle to work first in canada with work permit and apply for PR by giving my canada address in the application . If yes, will it increase my score or something ? Not sure of the best preferred way, please advise.

That would be ideal way. You may go in work permit and work for 1 or 2 years. With that benefit increase the score and apply for PR.

oh yea, but I have already got all my process completed. Just wanna create a profile application. Incase if I am delaying for a long say 1 or 2 years, my processed things might expire is what I think of. Not sure, if I am right in this.

Now I am confused. Is your friend applying or you?

I am in the beginning stage of applying . My friend is in stage with score of 404 for applying

Are you both in Canada?

If your friend is the one applying for work permit, how do you think will it affect your CRS?

So I was confused with your question :)

Uff dude, forgot about me. We both are in India. He is not in this forum and as he is getting processed for Work Permit , I thought to ask here as it might help him to get things cleared. While writing , I just mentioned as If yes, will it increase my score or something ? Instead of mentioning as him. I hope its clear now.

Oh ok. If your friend is applying for work permit and starts working in Canada, yes, he may be eligible for Canadian Experience if he has at least 12 months of skilled work exp.
