Hi guys,

Would really appreciate your input to these 2 questions:

Question 1 : Certified Documents

I am sending through certified true copies of my educational and work experience letters, the notary has stamped and signed and mentioned 'certify true copy'. Is that enough? Also do we have to send originals of these two documents or are certified true copies ok?

Question 2 : Payment (for second part of application)

I read in the instructions guide that we have to make the payment to the CIC - Does this mean that my application and docs go to Nairobi (my local visa office), and the payment (bank draft) goes to CIC Canada? I am very confused about this.

Thanks mates,

Neekita

As per visa office checklist
These doc should be original
Police certificate
IELTS result
Transcripts
Letter of reference

and rest of the documents should be notarized copy.
and regarding RPRF, fee will go to visa office itself. but its upto you if you want to send it now with the documents or at later stage on the request of visa office.

I have already gone through the process.
You don't need to send the original of your letters and transcripts.
Gor the money I should say, if you have paid $550 to CIC, you don't need to do it for the second time. As you know you have a payment reference number mentioned in the CIC initial e-mail. This means CIC has already received the necessary amount of money.

Good luck
