Query on Police Clearance

Hi,
I was working in UAE from a period of 1 year in the past.
Now when I have receieved by DOcument Updation Request form CIC, they have asked me to submit the PCC.
I am currently in Taiwan

When I saw the procedure to apply for PCC, it says I need to get my fingerprint attested by UAE Embassy in Taiwan(country in which I am residing now)
But there is no UAE Embassy in taiwan.
Hence pls let me know how do I obtain the PCC?

Hi,
I had the same problem as I am not working in UAE now but its easy to get your PV from UAE. You do your finger printing done from Taiwan Ministry of Interiors (Or whatever they call it) give them a letter stating that you need your fingerprint report for Canada immigration purpose. Take that finger print report to UAE embassy in Taiwan. One thing be sure that your finger prints should be clear. Than send the fees of 35 USD per person (Draft) along with your finger print report to UAE Ministry of Interiors, CID deptt, Police HQ, Dubai or where ever you have worked along with a letter asking them that you need Good Character Certificate for Canada immigration. Send it by courier preferably DHL. Than you can follow up on phone with them after 7 days. If its ready tell them that you will et reverse pick up by DHL. Instruct DHL office in Taiwan to get the documents for you from UAE, and you will easily get your PV back in max 15 days.

His concerns are not about the PCC procedure from Dubai, his problem is that there is no UAE embassy in Taiwan. He has to look for alternative embassies who deal with this region, may be Main land China, Singapore etc. He need to call and find out.
