Query on PCC

Hi,

I am from India and haven't stayed outside India for more than 6 months continuously.

However, I moved to USA on 22-Jun-2018 on a student visa. I received my ITA on 3-Jun-2018. I took a PCC from Indian passport office in Mumbai on 13-Jun-2018. I submitted my PR application on 13-July-2018 and received AOR on the same date. Currently, I received MEP and am in IP1 stage.

The query I have is... The IRCC website says.. the police certificate must have been issued AFTER the last time you stayed in the country for 6 months or more in a row.

My PCC is issued on 13-Jun-2018 and I left the country on 22-Jun-2018. Will this be an issue? If yes, how do I resolve this issue?

Do you live close to any Indian embassy? If Yes, then it would be worth visiting it and get a new copy of PCC. I got mine from NY consulate in 2 hrs.

Thanks for your reply. Was your passport issued in USA? I heard that it takes 6-8 weeks in case the passport is issued in India and one is approaching a consulate in USA.

Mine was issued from NY but my spouse's passport was issued from India. Both of us got PCC in 2 hours.

Hey guys need help
my friend name is Claire and there is no last name in passport
In US SSN and Visa it is FNU Claire
Now to request FBI PCC, what should she input as last name?
cos in express entry it is just first name as per passport
