Query for Seniors/Experienced please!

Hey All seniors, One query for u ,please help out:

I have secured a student visa and my current marrital status is single.I will land Canada in August for Sept intake.
Now suppose if i will get married few days before leaving My country, Would I have to inform CIC for changing a marital status ? Or its simply i will have to inform the immigration officer after landing there?
(please note I am not going to apply for my futured wife Visa until i finish my studies, i plan to apply for her once i finish my studies)

hello patel. u only will have to inform CIC and by extension an immigration official if they request this information. in the event they request this information be sure to have a copy of your marriage certificate to present to them.
