Dear all

Can you please help me on following issue.

i have two relatives(one is mine and one is of my wife) in Canada which one is preferable to get points.

1) My Maternal Uncle (MAMA) was Citizen of Canada, now he is died but my Maternal Aunt(Mami) is still there and she is citizen of Canada.

2) My wife's Real Uncle's Son means her Brother (First Cousin) is CANADA PR.

Do i get points for mentioned relative? and which one is more preferable?

2nd option will not fetch you points. I am doubtful about the 1st one as well. Let others also comment on it.

FYI

Relatives in Canada:
 You or your accompanying spouse or common-law partner has a relative, i.e., parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, child of a parent, (sibling), child of a grandparent, (aunt/uncle), or grandchild of a parent, (niece or nephew), who lives in Canada and is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

Naimish-

Have u sent in your application yet? Or heard anything about which relative would be more relevant to claim as a close relative?? Let me know if you have any more insight on this, because I am kind of in a similar dilemma.

Thanks!

Neither will give you points.
