Hello everyone,
I have a friend who is currently a PhD student almost about to complete. She applied for PR in PhD category in February 2013. She has full-time teaching experience of around 7 years even before starting PhD. However, CIC was not satisfied about the full-time status of her employment and felt from the wording of the experience letter that her job was a part-time or an assistant job. In May 2013 she got a rejection on the basis that her documents did not prove her work experience before her PhD.
She decided to leave Canada at that time but now is back and is thinking of staying on and reapplying for PR. It has been six months since the rejection email so my guess is this matter is dead now. But was wondering if anyone might have any idea if it is possible to re-open the case if she can get proper documentation from the university where she taught.
Thanks in advance.
