Hi folks,
I am new to this forum and recently I've gained a lot from the forum, now I have a question about FSW work experience requirement, I know it's compulsory to have 1 year experience before entering the express entry pool.

My situation is kinda complicated,

I started one job 06/13 last year, so basically I will have 1 year (52 weeks) experience on 06/12 this year, however I only have an average of 25 hrs in 8 weeks out of the 52 weeks, all other weeks have at least 30 hrs.

1. So does it mean that I only need to work another 5*8=40 hrs ( 7 working days ) after 06/12 to make up the 1560 hours requirement and I am good to go?
2. During this one year period, I worked for two employers and the titles are slightly different, but duties definitely fall under the same NOC code, is this okay to combine them as one-year experience?

Kindly ask for some ideas here, thanks so much.

1. The experience must be CONTINUOS without interruption- 1 year at least. Other ones are accumulated.
CIC: “full-time work” means at least 30 hours of work over a period of one week, so do the math!

2. OK you can claim points for that too - but only if you have 1 year of continuous work experience as the base requirement for FSW category.

Thank you for the quick reply, astralsource. My experience is continuous without interruption, so I guess #2 is not a problem.

About my first question, I heard people said that weekly hours less than 30 will be counted as 15 hours (part-time), if that's true, I will have to work a lot longer to make up that 1,560 hrs requirement. But after I checked the link, it seems like hours less than 30 will be accumulated and then divided by 30, the result will be the full-time work week, for my case, it will be 25*8/30=6.67 weeks, then I still need to work another 8-6.67=1.33 weeks to become eligible. Just want to make sure if my understanding is right.

Thanks a lot and please correct me if I am wrong.
