I'd done b.tech in electrical engineering in 2014. Now i am looking forward to study overseas(Canada). I searched for PG diploma for electrical but i end up finding nothing exact related to electrical field and i don't have any interest in electronics courses. So now i am looking for undergraduate diploma. I found they are pretty relevant to my respective field. As there are number of diploma's and one in which i am interested is electrical engineering technican but i found one with electrical engneering technican-power diploma(special one of its own and is a skilled trade course) which at whole differ from above mentioned diploma(subjectwise). As i am little worried about my visa should i apply to undergraduate diploma course? as i'd heard it might create a problem in my visa, apart from it i had seen many cases of 2014 intake of many students who got visa in undergaduate diploma even after finishing their b.tech in india.
Hope for best answers.

Ps:This is a skilled trade course moreover i guess kind of specialisation in my electrical field. Apart from it i got reply from the program cordinator of the same course which i am talking about, in which he mentioned that even university students apply under this course for enhancement of practical skills as it is a skilled trade course.

Apply to SAIT in Calgary or NAIT in Edmonton for their Power Engineering Course...even just the 4th Class program. 2 years. You will be getting lots of lucrative job offers before you even finish the course and your offers will come from companies that can take care of your immigration needs for you. Employers can only hire foreign workers if they can't find Canadians to do the work. Because of the oil boom in Alberta, they are grossly short on Power Engineers.

i am confused as someone told me that you can face problem in your visa if you apply for undergraduate diploma after graduation is it true? but i'd already seen many cases in which student went for diploma after graduation.

HELLO,
V.O GENERALLY HAVE ASSESSED DIPLOMA PROGRAM LEVELS,SOME GRADUATES GET THEIR PASSPORT STAMPED FOR THE SAME EDUCATION LEVEL,U JUST NEED A STRONG S.O.P EXPLAINING WHY THAT COURSE WILL ALLOW U TO EXPLORE MORE OF CAREER OPPORTUNITIES. AS FAR AS NAIT IS CONCERNED,GO AHEAD!!
WITH FULL CONFIDENCE. GOOD LUCK
