Queries regarding tattoo machine

Im about to move to canada for my studies from nepal and as im about to move in, ive got my brother in law there who is an tattoo artist and is asking me to bring one of the tattoo machine from him. Im of doubt that it might be problematic at the airport and might cause suspicion about my student status.
I generally need an advice on whether i can bring in the tool with me without any problem or not??

Yes it could cause serious problems for you. There could be concerns that you are planning to work versus study. Would suggest you have it mailed to him if he wants it.
