Quebec sponsorship - Parents & Spouse at the same time

Hi everyone,
I need your advice please:
- I have sent 2 separate applications for parents and spouse sponsorship. For parents sponsorship, I received the instruction from Fed to send applications to Quebec for next step.
My concern is:
- My 2017 income from Quebec notice of assessment is : $59,122 (Total income line 199).
Will it be enough ?

If I send application to Quebec for my parents sponsorship first, will it affect my spouse sponsorship?
Anyone with similar situation like me ? (Applying for both parents ans spouse )
Thank you for your advice

Did you calculate your family size and the income that's required prior to applying?

Your income is too low to sponsor your parents. You must meet LICO for four people which is: $59,426

Could you explain to me what is LICO ? And how you get to that number ($59,426) ?
Any link preference will be appreciated
So I take it you didn't actually bother read anything before submitting an entry into the lottery...

LICO (low income cut off) is the minimum income amount you must earn in order to qualify to sponsor your parents. When calculating the size of your family - you must include yourself and your wife - plus your parents which makes four people. Your income is too low for four people.

Quebec has their own rules and income requirements on parents sponsorship.
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/family-reunification/requirements-sponsor/specific-requirements/financial-standards/index.html
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/immigrate-settle/family-reunification/requirements-sponsor/specific-requirements/financial-standards/calculation.php

For family unit of 2 (you + spouse only, assumed no kids) plus 2 parents over age 18, that would come to total income of $56,887 (for 2018 standards).

So based on Quebec rules, $59K in 2017 should be enough.

Your spouse and parents are 2 separate applications, so will process independent of each other.

Thats crazy you didnt even bother to read the requirements before sponsoring. You took away a spot that another eligible sponsor could've had

Thanks Rob_TO, I did the calculation before posting this thread and got the same number $56,887. Glad to see at least someone else would do the same calculation. (It's not that clear to know what to put in the calculator, especially if I should put my spouse in family unit or undertaking still in effect) .
I'll call you immigration-quebec some time next week to confirm that I got it the right way.

I always appreciate posts with reference links and explanation.

Actually I don't know this for sure, since the calculator is a bit confusing. If they instead count your wife as a current undertaking and not part of your family unit, the required income would be $65,847.

You are best to contact them directly to make sure you're calculating the right way.

Hello,
How long it took for you to get the confirmation from federal government to send application to Quebec? And how did you get the confirmation (email or mail?) Thank you.

Hello Asian Immigrant: I have the same situation like you. I am sponsoring my parents and spouse at the same time. I am confused whether to put spouse under family or previous undertaking or both. This Quebec income calculator is really confusing. Were you able to confirm with the immigration about this?
